Responsibilities:
- Understand the business requirements and project details thoroughly.
- Define project scope, estimate resources and timelines, set goals, deliverables, and measures of success.
- Ensure the team is well-trained on relevant applications and technologies.
- Guide the team in creating a detailed project work plan and timeline.
- Conduct and oversee project implementation and regularly evaluate progress.
- Ensure all project information is documented appropriately.
- Track deliverables and monitor/report project progress to clients and stakeholders.
- Implement and manage changes necessary to meet project outputs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of productivity and quality.
- Manage budget and allocate project resources effectively.
- Maintain project margins and profitability, ensuring no revenue leakage.
- Manage people, client, and stakeholder relationships.
- Support in presales activities; create and review estimations.
- Act as a mentor for technical solutions as needed.
- Provide subject matter expertise and leadership in Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence.
Skills & Experience Required:
- 15+ years of experience with 5 to 8 years of project/program management experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing and leading Data Warehouse projects, preferably in the Banking sector.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, team members, supervisors, and employees from other departments.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in developing data warehouses.
- Experience with a Tier I Business Intelligence tool is desired (experience with Power BI/Business Objects is a plus).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
- PMI/PMP or Prince2 certification is required.
- 6+ years of experience in Banking and 8+ years of experience in Data Warehousing.
