Delivery Lead - Digital Products Wealth

About the Role
The Delivery Lead role is pivotal in co-owning and facilitating the delivery of initiatives within Wealth Tribe, partnering closely with Tribe leads and Product Owners. This role fosters collaboration, continuous learning, innovation, and an engineering culture among squads. The Delivery Lead is essential in ensuring that project teams make informed decisions based on a comprehensive understanding of the banking domain, particularly in the context of Wealth Management including aspects like Wealth Portfolio and Order Management Processes, various Wealth Asset Classes, and key processes such as Equity Trading and Lombard Lending. Staying updated with industry trends—including Digital Assets Trading and emerging technologies like AI/ML—is critical to achieving platform stability and compliance with Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs).

Responsibilities

• Work alongside Tribe leads to define strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment between delivery and overall business objectives.
• Manage product dependencies for Digital Product Epics/Features, ensuring appropriate prioritization and commitments from respective Delivery Leads and platform owners.
• Oversee the delivery of initiatives using Agile methodologies, ensuring adherence to Agile practices and striving for the highest level of Agile maturity within teams.
• Act as a primary escalation point for stakeholders, ensuring alignment of goals and delivery timelines among various internal and external parties.
• Lead cross-functional teams, facilitating collaboration among developers, testers, and Business Analysts to effectively deliver digital solutions.
• Promote a culture of Continuous Improvement through feedback collection, Agile retrospectives, and optimizing future deliverables based on lessons learned.
• Track the progress of Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), reporting regularly to the Head of Digital Products and key stakeholders.
• Foster innovation by adopting emerging trends in systems, processes, and people to help the Tribe achieve its OKRs and KPIs.
• Ensure all Digital products meet quality, security standards and regulatory requirements for the respective region.
• Facilitate budgeting and funding tracking for products, conducting Portfolio Reviews with Tribe Leads, Business Owners, and IT Leadership Teams.
• Provide regular updates on delivery status, risks, and issues while ensuring effective communication across all levels.
• Manage resource capacity for tribes, assisting Product Owners with resource demands and hiring processes.
• Facilitate the setup of new squads and assist in sizing demands as needed, including vendor onboarding and tracking deliveries.
• Support Tech Leads in release management by aligning all dependent IT platforms and teams for respective releases.
• Guide and manage other Delivery Leads to ensure success in their responsibilities.
• Oversee operational expenditures (OPEX) and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs), ensuring the product's technical health and resolution of production issues as per SLAs.
• Proficiently communicate with senior stakeholders, raising and discussing issues and conflicts as necessary.

Requirements

• Graduate Degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Experience with traditional Project Management methodologies (Prince2/PMP).
• Proficiency in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
• 4+ years in Agile roles.
• 3+ years in Release Management.
• 3+ years of experience in Wealth Management domain.
• 5+ years of experience in Banking/Financial domain.
• 10+ years of overall professional experience.
• Minimum 3 years of Banking IT expertise.
• Minimum 3 years of technical experience in Banking IT.
• Experience in owning and implementing customer-facing channels.
• AWS or Azure Solutions Architect Certification.
• Demonstrated leadership and Agile management experience.
