Key Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Manage project execution, track progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with the Head of Product to shape the product backlog for upcoming sprints and work closely with the CTO for timely project delivery.
- Set software delivery expectations for top management and secure ownership.
- Deliver all software projects on time while meeting expected quality metrics.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprints, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
- Guide the team in adopting and adhering to Agile principles and practices.
- Remove impediments and foster a collaborative environment.
- Drive improvements through automation and LEAN practices.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
- Proactively identify and assess project risks, developing and implementing mitigation plans.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Qashio's delivery processes and implement best practices in project management and Agile methodologies.
- Foster a strong collaborative environment within the tech team and across departments.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in software development project management with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience implementing them in a software development environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Asana, etc.) and software development lifecycle processes.
- Prior experience managing a large team and working closely with multiple teams (Tech, Product, QA, Customer Success).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in the FinTech industry is a plus.
