The Delivery Manager will closely collaborate with multiple stakeholders, acting as a liaison between teams while preparing for and participating in project status meetings and steering committees. This role fosters a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, accountability, and delivery excellence across all project streams. Knowledge of Amadeus and PSS is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure on-time and on-budget project delivery within agreed scope and quality measures.
- Oversee benefits realization of managed projects.
- Develop and maintain overall project plans consistent with business objectives.
- Lead scoping activities to identify, capture, and analyze requirements.
- Create and manage a stakeholder management plan to maintain strong team relationships.
- Communicate project status regularly to stakeholders.
- Work closely with Business Analysts to manage scope and change control.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and assumptions while providing solutions.
- Report on project delivery status using agreed metrics.
- Align with governance, best practices, standards, and processes for delivery.
- Coordinate relations with third-party suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery.
- Support post-implementation activities, including documenting lessons learned and monitoring benefits realization.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in project management using modern waterfall and agile methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- Airline experience or knowledge of the end-to-end process of booking, check-in, cancellation, re-accommodation, etc., especially on the Amadeus product suite.
- Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE 2, Scrum Master CSM, or SAFe is beneficial.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Project Management tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including collaboration, team-building, and communication abilities.
Language Requirements: Proficiency in English is required, additional languages may be beneficial.
