The Global AV Infrastructure team plays a crucial role in expanding infrastructure access to support the company's ambitious autonomous and electrification goals. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Deployment Manager to lead the development, design, and site readiness of charging and maintenance infrastructure for autonomous vehicles. In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for driving projects from early-stage site identification and acquisition through design, permitting, utility coordination, contractor selection, construction, and handoff to operations teams. This role will focus on fast-charging stations and maintenance depots in core city centers across the Middle East. The ideal candidate will have experience in real estate development, infrastructure deployment, design and construction management, and contract negotiation, along with strong organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a pipeline of potential new charging and depot sites in alignment with the company's AV infrastructure strategy.
- Lead projects from site identification and acquisition through conceptual design, permitting, utility upgrades, contractor selection, and project handoff.
- Negotiate leases, purchase agreements, and other site-related contracts with landlords, property owners, and public/private partners.
- Conduct and refine comprehensive site due diligence, including zoning, utility access, permitting requirements, and financial feasibility.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and construction teams to evaluate installation costs, optimize site layouts, and ensure readiness for deployment.
- Proactively identify and resolve site, design, permitting, and construction-related challenges to maintain project timelines and budgets.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure deployment, real estate development, design management, construction management, or related fields.
- Proven track record of managing end-to-end infrastructure projects, including site acquisition, design, permitting, contractor selection, and project execution.
- Strong understanding of permitting, utility planning, real estate development, and construction processes.
- Proficiency with design and project management tools such as Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Procore, Adobe Creative Suite, SolidWorks, or similar platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in design, civil or electrical engineering, construction management, real estate, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in infrastructure deployment, design management, construction management, real estate development, or related fields.
- Experience with fast-charging EV infrastructure, maintenance depots, or transportation/mobility infrastructure.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with various stakeholders.
- Self-starter who is highly organized, motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Travel Requirements: Ability to travel frequently, up to 30% within the Middle East. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
