Deputy Project Manager (Infrastructure)

About the Job: The company is seeking a talented Deputy Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the Project Manager in planning and executing design projects and act on their behalf in their absence.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Identify clients’ or stakeholders’ project needs and goals.
• Create detailed project plans for successful completion.
• Manage the project team, including task delegation and coordination across design disciplines.
• Maintain project documentation with the project’s Document Controller.
• Review and proof project deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with the Project Control team to track and report project progress.
• Liaise with stakeholders regarding project details and deliverables.
• Manage relationships with clients, statutory authorities, and design consultants.
• Act on behalf of the Project Manager and make decisions on project matters in their absence.
• Oversee design quality assurance and technical review.
• Manage administrative functions related to the project.
• Track and report project progress on multiple concurrent projects.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of project management experience in infrastructure projects.
• Experience acting on behalf of a Project Manager in infrastructure design.
• Proficiency with project management software and tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively.
• Excellent multitasking skills.

Desired Skills:

• PMP certification.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
