Key Responsibilities:
- Lead safe, high-quality project delivery, championing well-being, inclusion, and compliance with local regulations.
- Direct design management functions, driving strategic outcomes and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Implement robust design governance and shape long-term business strategy aligned with the company's values.
- Manage a team of senior design managers, technical specialists, and BIM/digital teams.
- Mentor and develop talent, promoting innovation and best practices within an inclusive culture.
- Define and lead overall design strategy for the residential business unit, ensuring alignment with programme vision and technical requirements.
- Establish governance structures such as the Design Management Plan and design assurance protocols.
- Act as the principal point of design leadership across internal teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Own the design delivery programme, ensuring alignment with project schedules and commercial teams.
Qualifications:
- 20+ years of experience in design leadership on large-scale residential or mixed-use masterplan developments.
- Proven track record of delivering major programmes within a PMC/delivery partner environment.
- Degree in architecture, engineering, or related field; Chartered status (RIBA, ICE, CIBSE, AIA, PMI, or equivalent) preferred.
- Extensive design management experience with deep knowledge of building safety, standards, and statutory requirements.
- Proven leadership of diverse teams and effective senior-level stakeholder engagement.
- Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and relevant experience in high-valued projects/programmes.
Language Requirements:
- Proficiency in English is expected; additional language skills are a plus.
