Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of the overall design vision and strategy for key areas of The Line, including residential districts, commercial centers, cultural hubs, and public spaces.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of architects, urban planners, landscape architects, and engineers to ensure integrated design.
- Oversee the design process from concept to completion, providing creative direction, design reviews, and quality control.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including government officials, community members, and international design partners.
- Champion innovative design solutions that tackle sustainability, livability, and social equity challenges.
- Stay updated on trends and innovations in architecture and urban design.
- Contribute to design guidelines and standards for The Line.
- Mentor and guide junior design staff.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, or a related field.
- Minimum of 25 years of professional experience in architecture or urban design with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale, complex design projects.
- Strong conceptual and design skills, with a portfolio showcasing innovative work.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of sustainable design principles and technologies.
- Experience with international projects is a plus.
- Fluency in English is essential; Arabic language skills are a plus.
