Design Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, along with 2–3 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting/design, preferably in HVAC coil/AHU manufacturing. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of HVAC coil construction, dimensions, tube/fin arrangements, headers, and connections, as well as the ability to read engineering drawings and prepare detailed manufacturing drawings. Attention to detail, coordination, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines while managing multiple drawings are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Development of products as per customer specification and inputs.
• Quantification, sizing, and measurement of the products to be designed.
• Liaising with other designers, including architects, to agree on safe designs and their fit with the aesthetic concept of the construction.
• Making drawings, specifications, and computer models of structures for building contractors.

Requirements

• Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting/design, preferably in HVAC coil/AHU manufacturing.
• Good knowledge of HVAC coil construction, dimensions, tube/fin arrangements, headers, and connections.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and prepare detailed manufacturing drawings.
• Strong attention to detail, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work within tight deadlines and manage multiple drawings.
