The company is seeking an experienced Lead Design professional to:
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary design development activities across complex projects.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to design teams, ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance with project objectives.
- Review and oversee design deliverables to ensure alignment with client requirements, project standards, and regulations.
- Monitor design progress, deliverable quality, and adherence to project schedules and milestones.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers and discipline leads to resolve technical, resource, and delivery challenges.
- Facilitate coordination between internal teams, consultants, clients, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure effective integration of design disciplines and maintain consistency across all project documentation.
- Identify, assess, and resolve complex technical and design-related issues through innovative solutions.
- Promote best practices, continuous improvement initiatives, and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Support the development and implementation of design standards, procedures, and quality management processes.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and professional working environment that encourages teamwork and innovation.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Design, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- 15 years of related experience in design management and project delivery in multidisciplinary environments.
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary design teams on large and complex projects.
- Strong understanding of project delivery processes, design management principles, and technical coordination.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality, schedule, and budget objectives.
- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder engagement, and team-building skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficiency in managing design risks, change management processes, and quality assurance requirements.
- Ability to mentor and develop team members while driving high performance and accountability.
Desired Skills:
- Master's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Professional certification or registration relevant to the discipline.
- Experience delivering large-scale infrastructure, industrial, transportation, or development projects.
- Strong understanding of digital delivery platforms, BIM environments, and project management systems.
