What You'll Be Doing
- Engage in strong infrastructure planning and design experience.
- Develop and manage strategic infrastructure masterplans effectively.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of power, water, and utility planning and interfaces.
- Manage infrastructure design at both program and masterplan levels, beyond multidisciplinary design coordination.
- Leverage a robust technical engineering background relevant to major infrastructure programs.
- Support daily management, coordination, and assurance of design delivery across all project stages in collaboration with Senior Management and the Senior Design Manager.
- Oversee design consultants and technical teams to ensure compliant, integrated, and high-quality design outputs.
- Review and monitor design submissions for quality, completeness, and compliance with project requirements before approvals.
- Address and resolve design clashes, technical queries, constructability issues, and coordination matters across disciplines.
- Maintain design trackers, action logs, registers, approval workflows, and technical records for effective governance and reporting.
- Utilize standardized design management templates, tools, methodologies, and reporting procedures across projects and monitor progress against milestones, schedules, and deliverables.
- Facilitate interfaces between disciplines, infrastructure systems, assets, consultants, stakeholders, and delivery teams to achieve integrated outcomes.
- Identify, track, and support the mitigation of design-related risks, assumptions, constraints, and dependencies.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, consultants, support functions, and project teams for timely reviews, approvals, and decisions.
- Ensure consistent, timely, and accurate communication of design information among all stakeholders.
Required Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in design coordination or design management roles.
- Experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary design consultants.
- Strong understanding of design development stages and coordination requirements.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
