We are hiring a Design Manager to lead and enhance our Visual Design practice to support brand and site experiences. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for experienced designers who excel in people management, delivery ownership, and strategic thinking.
Work Conditions: Full-time, Remote
Location: Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Responsibilities:
- Apply and evolve existing design guidelines to ensure consistency across various touchpoints.
- Lead diverse projects including marketing campaign assets, data visualization, print, and UI design.
- Collaborate closely with design systems and sites teams, influencing UI for all digital experiences.
- Drive innovation, maintain quality, and support the continuous professional growth of the visual design team.
- Review work critically and constructively while contributing hands-on design work as needed.
- Oversee and improve operational workflows and work with stakeholders to define and validate outcomes.
- Evolve design systems and guidelines to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Share team accomplishments and strengthen organizational culture.
Requirements:
- A portfolio demonstrating excellence in leading design processes, especially visually, in various organizations.
- Experience managing complex projects and a team of designers while actively involved in design work.
- Advanced knowledge of visual design principles including typography, layout, color, and systems.
- Strong understanding of processes and ability to manage ambiguity, competing priorities, and limited resources.
- A commitment to usability and accessibility, with a clear point of view balanced with openness to feedback.
- Exceptional written and spoken English skills.
- Willingness to travel up to four times a year for internal events lasting up to two weeks.
