The Design Project Manager will oversee the technical and engineering aspects of the project, ensuring the successful completion of infrastructure designs within set budget and schedule. Responsibilities include leading multidisciplinary teams in concept master planning and detailed infrastructure design, managing design consultants and ensuring compliance with clients’ requirements and local/international standards, and coordinating with site contractors and client design teams for integrated delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversight of construction packages including utilities, civil works, and infrastructure interfaces.
  • Management of design deliverables, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
  • Tracking and reporting on engineering deliverables and project progress.
  • Facilitation of stakeholder engagement and technical presentations.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree (or international equivalent) with a minimum of 20 years of relevant experience in EPC/PMC environments, strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as multicultural team experience, particularly in the Middle East. Knowledge of infrastructure regulatory codes and design criteria is essential, along with familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and BIM processes. Fluency in English is required.
