Expo 2030 Riyadh presents a unique global platform for collaboration under the theme "Foresight for Tomorrow." This initiative anticipates welcoming over 40 million visitors, promoting sustainable development and innovation. The company is responsible for managing the infrastructure program which will focus on public spaces and utility management before transitioning into a mixed-use legacy development post-event.
As the Design Project Manager, you will lead a team of technical specialists and oversee the engineering and technical aspects of the infrastructure works for the Expo. You will be responsible for the performance of design consultants, ensuring compliance with budget, schedule, and quality standards. Additionally, you will oversee Engineering Programme Management plans and serve as the primary Delivery Partner representative on technical matters.

Location: Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Major Responsibilities
- Lead and direct the infrastructure masterplan and detailed design execution.
- Maintain high standards for project governance and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
- Review design deliverables and direct initiatives related to constructability and safety.
- Provide project studies, reports, and forecasts as needed.
- Manage design subcontractors and ensure timely project delivery.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (or international equivalent) in an engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in Master Planning and major infrastructure projects.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Proven experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across different organizational levels.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Familiarity with computer-aided drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and BIM processes.
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience in the Middle East, particularly knowledge of KSA labor laws and practices.
- Understanding of current innovations in infrastructure works, particularly applications of AI.
