The Design Review Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the review of design submissions across various disciplines to ensure compliance with project requirements, standards, and regulations. This role acts as a bridge between design consultants, project teams, and stakeholders to facilitate timely and high-quality design approvals. The Design Review Coordinator will be responsible for collating comments and ensuring their appropriateness prior to submission to the design consultants, as well as ensuring these comments are closed in a timely manner. The Design Review Coordinator will ensure that appropriate KPIs are in place to monitor the timeliness and quality of comments from all parties.
Major Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the review of design submissions across various disciplines.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, standards, and regulations.
- Act as a bridge between design consultants, project teams, and stakeholders for design approvals.
- Collate comments and manage timely closures of comments to design consultants.
- Monitor KPIs for the timeliness and quality of comments.
Experience Requirements:
- Experience in infrastructure projects including site-wide infrastructure, underground utilities, pipelines, pumping stations, reservoirs, and wastewater treatment facilities.
- Experience across engineering disciplines, ideally with involvement in design and construction projects.
- Record of successful design management on a major multidisciplinary infrastructure project.
- Knowledge of discipline engineering techniques.
- Experience in coordinating design-build and design-bid-build projects with consultants.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Design Suite.
Education Requirements:
- Degree or postgraduate qualification in Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent.
- Minimum 10-15 years of progressive experience in infrastructure project delivery.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills (oral and written).
- Willingness to relocate to Riyadh.
- Proactive and result-driven approach.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
Language Requirements:
- Proficient in English; additional languages are a plus.
