Desktop Support Engineer

This position requires a Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-site technical support, managing a range of tasks from troubleshooting common desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS) and productivity software (Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite) to ensuring network connectivity and performance. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and LAN/WAN configurations. Familiarity with remote support tools and excellent communication skills are essential to convey technical information to non-technical users. Strong problem-solving abilities coupled with a proactive approach are crucial for identifying and resolving issues efficiently. The role demands the ability to work independently, manage workloads effectively, and meet deadlines and service level agreements.

Qualifications:

• Essential:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field
  • Certified for Microsoft Administration
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience in a similar technical role.
• Desirable:
  • ITIL Foundation V3
  • CompTIA A+
  • MSCA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate) or MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert)
  • CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
