Desktop Support Engineer

This position requires a skilled Desktop Support Engineer who will provide on-site technical support in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in troubleshooting common desktop operating systems such as Windows and macOS, as well as productivity software including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite. A solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies like TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and LAN/WAN configurations is essential.

The candidate should be familiar with remote desktop support tools and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical users. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset toward identifying and resolving technical issues are crucial. Candidates must be able to work independently, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines and service level agreements. Flexibility for after-hours work and participation in an on-call rotation is expected.

Essential Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, or related field.
• Certification in Microsoft Administration.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar technical role.

Desirable Qualifications:

• ITIL Foundation V3 certification.
• CompTIA A+ certification.
• MSCA or MCSE certifications.
• CCNA certification.
