Scope and Purpose: The Desktop Support Engineer will maintain essential IT helpdesk operations, including management of computer systems, network tools, software, and the health of desk devices, as well as VoIP systems and IT assets.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage endpoint devices (PCs, laptops, IP devices, etc.) at the MBCC facility in Dammam.
  • Provide support for endpoint hardware and software for employees and customers.
  • Create, deploy, and maintain endpoint images.
  • Ensure integration between endpoint computers and various devices such as weighing scales, barcode printers, scanners, and more.
  • Apply software patches and updates to endpoint computers and devices.
  • Troubleshoot IT equipment including laptops, PCs, printers, and related devices.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and audits of endpoint devices for security compliance.
  • Manage Windows server updates and ensure automatic updates.
  • Monitor network interfaces on access layer network devices.
  • Oversee antimalware servers and prepare endpoint protection reports.
  • Manage Active Directory user accounts as assigned by the IT team lead.
  • Implement IT security standards for endpoint devices.
  • Assist security teams in the deployment of CCTV devices and cameras.
  • Respond to IT incidents reported by employees through various communication channels and update IT tickets.
  • Escalate issues to higher support as necessary following ITIL standards.
  • Prepare reports related to endpoint devices and user accounts.
  • Work in one of three shifts to meet business requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the IT team lead.

Work Conditions: Hybrid, Full-time

Location: Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia

Qualifications:

  • Saudi nationals only
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Experience in a busy environment handling administrative matters
  • Strong multitasking abilities

Language Requirements: Strong communication skills in Arabic and English.
