Development Manager - Resort Core

The Development Manager for Resort Core is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and management of development activities. This role involves developing implementation strategies and coordinating efforts to achieve aligned objectives and successful delivery outcomes.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop implementation approaches, delivery schedules, and execution activities for assigned developments in alignment with approved business objectives and asset positioning.
• Manage end-to-end development delivery across various phases, including concept development, coordination, handover, and operational readiness.
• Evaluate feasibility assessments and financial evaluations for assigned developments to inform investment decisions and align with commercial requirements.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and governance requirements to enable effective risk management across assigned developments.
• Facilitate coordination among various workstreams to achieve integrated development activities and successful project execution.
• Engage with tenants, operators, and partners to ensure operational integration and readiness across assigned developments.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Real Estate Development, Property Development, Urban Development, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Development, Urban Planning, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field required.
• Minimum of 14 years of experience in retail or commercial real estate development, with relevant experience in a managerial role.
• Professional certifications in real estate or project management preferred.
• Strong analytical skills to support decision-making and improve processes.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of aligning retail development with market demand and customer experience.
• Familiarity with managing complex stakeholder environments and leading retail development initiatives.
