As a DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate on our Infrastructure as Code initiative for our hybrid cloud infrastructure. A commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and product quality is essential.
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage a team and successfully deliver projects.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Develop, test, and deploy CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, optimizing build, test, and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the SDLC.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system availability, reliability, and scalability.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 10-12 years of experience in both development and DevOps.
- Strong expertise in Core Java (version 8 and above), with proficiency in object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., SQS, Lambda, SNS, API Gateway, DynamoDB).
- Extensive experience in designing and developing microservices architecture using Spring Boot.
- Proficiency in Python development, particularly for AWS Lambda functions.
Language Requirements:
English proficiency is assumed, but additional language skills may be beneficial.
Additional Notes:
- Experience working in agile software development environments.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills.
- Demonstrated mentorship skills for guiding junior team members.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and hands-on experience with Python and serverless architectures.
- Certifications in AWS cloud platform (Associate level Solution Architect or SysOps) are mandatory.
