Functional Activities:
- Cloud Infrastructure & Automation:
- Design and operate secure Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes platforms supporting workloads.
- Create reusable Terraform modules and automate provisioning controls.
- Automate platform configuration, upgrades, health checks, and operational tasks.
- CI/CD, GitOps & Artifact Management:
- Build and manage CI/CD workflows using GitLab CI and/or Jenkins.
- Implement GitOps deployment practices with Argo CD and Helm.
- Administer GitLab and JFrog Artifactory with necessary controls.
- Observability, Reliability & Operations:
- Establish monitoring and alerting dashboards using Prometheus.
- Maintain centralized logging and diagnostic workflows with Elastic Stack.
- Engage in incident response and post-incident improvements.
- Proactive Ownership & Collaboration:
- Identify and prioritize reliability, security, and performance improvements.
- Maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate progress and risks.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years experience in DevOps or related fields, with at least 2 years on production cloud or Kubernetes platforms.
- Hands-on experience in designing and supporting workloads in Microsoft Azure.
- Proficient in Terraform, CI/CD workflows, Kubernetes, Git, and Linux administration.
- Automated scripting experience using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
- Experience in monitoring production services and conducting incident analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred).
- Experience with Argo CD, Helm, JFrog Artifactory, Prometheus, and Elastic Stack.
- Familiarity with Azure networking and security practices.
