This position is to onboard a Senior DevOps Engineer responsible for automating workloads, improving operational efficiency, and reducing maintenance costs. The Senior DevOps Engineer will transform business requirements into technical solutions, perform feasibility studies, and implement proofs of concept (POCs). They will develop both internal and customer-related projects that will directly or indirectly contribute to revenue. The job holder will be part of a DevOps team responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a platform, ensuring services are provided according to customer agreements, SLAs, and quality standards. This role includes working with enterprise customers to optimize and monitor requirements, driving the organization towards high customer satisfaction.

Job Description
- Responsible for availability, upgrades, and administration of the DevOps tools.
- Identify tasks/processes which are repetitive and automate them.
- Conduct feasibility studies of business requirements.
- Implement POCs to showcase proposed solutions to internal or external stakeholders.
- Perform requirement analysis and effort estimation.
- Document the steps involved in custom pipeline builds and processes.
- Develop solutions with inbuilt security.
- Coordinate with vendors, internal teams, and customers to complete activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum education: B.E/B.Tech/MCA/M.E/M.Tech
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the IT industry
- Minimum 6 years of experience in development (preferably using DevOps)
Skills
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker is a must.
- Experience with GitLab, including deployment, configuration, and maintenance, is essential.
- Ability to design pipelines to automate workloads (preferably using GitLab).
- Should define a branching strategy using GIT.
- Good understanding of Linux-based systems (preferably RHEL 6 and above).
- Experience in several of the following programming languages: Golang, Python, Node.js, Java.
- Familiarity with web technologies: HTML, CSS, JS/jQuery.
- Good understanding of JS frameworks: ReactJS, AngularJS, VueJS, D3.js.
- Experience in various technologies: Terraform, Helm, AWS, GCP, SonarQube, Elasticsearch, Grafana, Prometheus, PowerShell, Shell Scripting, Ansible, Drupal, Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, CockroachDB, Hyperledger Fabric v1.4 and above.
