DevOps Engineer

About the Job: The company is a French software company specializing in Self BI (Business Intelligence) Platforms that empower users with data autonomy, governance, and advanced analytics capabilities. Headquartered in Ivry-sur-Seine, France, the company serves clients across diverse industries in both the public and private sectors. Our Dubai office is expanding, and we are seeking a DevOps Engineer to help build and optimize the infrastructure supporting our AI-driven data platform. This includes integrating Generative AI, NLP, and data visualization technologies to deliver cutting-edge analytics solutions.

Role Description: As a DevOps Engineer at the company, you will design, automate, and maintain our cloud and on-premise environments to support continuous integration, delivery, and scalability of AI and data services. You will collaborate with our Data Science, Development, and Product teams to ensure efficient, secure, and high-performing deployments of the company’s Self BI Platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure & Automation:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS / Azure / GCP) for the company’s AI and BI platform.
  • Automate deployment and configuration using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  • Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for software and AI model deployments.

• Containerization & Orchestration:

  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Ensure efficient orchestration, scaling, and monitoring of microservices and AI model services.

• Monitoring & Reliability:

  • Implement system monitoring, alerting, and logging using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
  • Monitor and improve platform reliability, availability, and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system performance, deployment, and infrastructure stability.

• Security & Compliance:

  • Enforce best practices for infrastructure and application security, including access control, encryption, and network security.
  • Support compliance requirements for data protection and system integrity.

• Collaboration & Support:

  • Work closely with software developers, data scientists, and product managers to streamline releases and improve deployment efficiency.
  • Provide DevOps guidance, troubleshoot production incidents, and continuously improve automation workflows.
  • Participate in Agile SAFe processes to align infrastructure work with product development cycles.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proven experience (3–6 years) in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or System Engineering roles.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or Shell).
  • Familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation).
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, CloudWatch).
  • Experience managing version control using Git and working in Agile environments.

Preferred:

• Exposure to MLOps or AI/ML deployment pipelines (e.g., integrating AI models into production).
• Familiarity with LLMs, NLP APIs, or data-driven AI services.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Docker Certified Associate are a plus.

Language Requirements: Must be fluent in English.
