Avrioc Technologies is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time

Qualifications:

  • Any bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science or a STEM field with a major in Mathematics.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps role, with hands-on experience across a specified tech stack.
  • Certifications from the following are highly preferred:
    • AWS Solution Architect Associate / Professional
    • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) / Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKAD)
    • RHCSA/RHCE (7/8)

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and administer Linux servers (Ubuntu & Amazon Linux).
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and patch management following industry best practices.
  • Develop scripts using languages such as Bash, Python, Ruby, or Go.
  • Manage web and proxy servers (Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, HAproxy).
  • Oversee DNS, DHCP, networking, and certificate authority systems.
  • Administer AWS and Azure cloud services, including EC2, RDS, S3, and more.
  • Design networking and application architectures for high availability and fault tolerance across multi-cloud environments.
  • Migrate workloads from on-premises to cloud environments.
  • Conduct cost analysis to optimize application usage and reduce overprovisioning in the cloud.
  • Implement and configure container schedulers and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, OpenShift).
  • Collaborate with developers for the containerization of MEAN stack applications.
  • Utilize configuration management tools (Chef, Ansible, Puppet, SaltStack).
  • Employ Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation).
  • Design and administer code repositories using GitLab or GitHub.
  • Administer build systems (Jenkins, Spinnaker) and support TDD with automated testing.
  • Maintain and build mobile application environments (iOS or Android).
  • Work with SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, Cassandra).
  • Implement monitoring and observability platforms (e.g., Elastic stack, Grafana).
  • Use tools like Jira and Confluence for project management and collaboration.

Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of information security policies and incident management.
