As a team player, you will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and platform specialists to enhance internal platform solutions and gain hands-on experience in tackling real-world scalability and reliability challenges.
Your Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining and supporting core platform components including Kubernetes clusters, CI/CD systems, and monitoring tools.
- Learn and contribute to infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform and Helm.
- Support senior engineers in incident handling, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Help document platform tools, runbooks, and processes for team efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and team discussions to enhance technical and collaboration skills.
- Take ownership of small platform tasks or improvements with guidance and mentorship.
Your Expertise:
- Experience: Maximum of 2 years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Backend Engineering, or a related field.
- Skills:
- Basic knowledge of Linux systems, containers (e.g., Docker), and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or OCI).
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Helm.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform or Ansible).
- Ability to work with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins) and write simple deployment scripts.
- Working knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
- Comfortable with at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Bash, Python, or Go).
