As a DevOps Engineer, you will be part of the IT Infrastructure Systems team, collaborating on the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiative for our hybrid cloud infrastructure. A commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and product quality is essential.
Key Accountabilities:
- 10-12 years of experience in both development and DevOps.
- Strong expertise in Core Java (version 8 and above), with proficiency in object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as SQS, Lambda, SNS, API Gateway, and DynamoDB using AWS SDKs for Java and Python.
- Extensive experience in designing and developing microservices architecture using Spring Boot.
- Proficiency in Python development for AWS Lambda functions, enabling serverless architectures.
- Strong understanding of software architecture with the ability to contribute to Low-Level Design (LLD).
- Demonstrated mentorship skills for guiding junior team members.
- Manage team effectively and ensure successful project delivery.
- Design, build, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Develop and deploy CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Implement security best practices and compliance controls across cloud infrastructure.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience in agile software development environments.
- Strong technical skills with a deep understanding of modern architectural styles such as microservices, containers, and cloud solutions (AWS, Azure).
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to foster a positive and motivated team environment.
- Proficient in Java & Java EE with a good understanding of its ecosystems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and knowledge of serverless architecture.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools and container-based architecture (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
- Mandatory experience with AWS cloud platform and relevant certifications (Associate level Solution Architect, SysOps or Professional Level DevOps/Solution Architect).
