Qualifications and Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree (preferably in computer science or a related STEM field).
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps role.
- Certifications preferred:
- AWS Solution Architect Associate/Professional
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
- RHCSA/RHCE (versions 7/8)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and administer Linux servers (Ubuntu & Amazon Linux).
- Conduct OS vulnerability assessments and patching using industry best practices.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Ruby, or Go.
- Knowledge of web and proxy servers including Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, and HAProxy.
- Administration experience with AWS and Azure services (e.g., EC2, RDS, S3, etc.).
- Expertise in networking concepts, DNS, DHCP, and certificate systems.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for architecture and design across multiple cloud environments.
- Experience with container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience in configuration management tools (Chef, Ansible, Puppet, SaltStack).
- Ability to manage code repositories using tools like GitLab or GitHub.
- Strong SQL and NoSQL database skills.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability platforms (Grafana, Prometheus, etc.).
Language Requirements:
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills may be a plus.
