The company is an independent French software vendor with over 20 years of expertise in data solutions. Our flagship product, the company Self Data Services (SDS), is a sovereign and comprehensive data platform offering data governance, quality control, analysis, and business value. This is a full-time on-site role based in Dubai for a DevOps Engineer specializing in Multi-Cloud, Sovereign, and on-premises systems. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing automated solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), managing system administration tasks, and ensuring high-quality software development and deployment. Key responsibilities include:
- Configuring and maintaining Linux-based environments.
- Setting up and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensuring system reliability, scalability, and security.
- Working with on-premises Kubernetes deployments (bare-metal or VM-based).
Main Responsibilities:

On-Premises & Multi-Cloud Infrastructure Operations
- Manage and optimize infrastructure across data centers, private cloud, sovereign cloud, and major public clouds (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Maintain secure hybrid connectivity, networking, and identity federation.

CI/CD Pipeline Management
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI or similar tools.
- Ensure efficient release processes across hybrid environments.

Infrastructure as Code & Automation
- Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, Helm, or equivalent tools.

Containerization & Orchestration
- Manage and optimize Docker containers and Kubernetes deployments.
- Implement best practices for container security and resource optimization.

Monitoring, Logging & Incident Response
- Deploy and maintain monitoring systems such as Prometheus and Grafana.

Collaboration & Documentation
- Collaborate with developers, system administrators, cloud engineers, and security teams.
- Document infrastructure designs and operational processes.

Essential Technical Skills:
- Proven experience in managing on-premises infrastructure and Linux-based systems (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL).
- Strong expertise in multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures, including sovereign cloud environments.
- Advanced skills in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with GitOps tooling (ArgoCD).
- Familiarity with security and scanning tools (SonarQube, Trivy).
