Role Purpose:
- Coordinate with project teams to package and deploy applications.
- Resolve technical challenges related to application deployment in various environments.
- Maintain application deployments and collaborate with project managers and end users to resolve operational issues.
- Support developers with development deployments.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage containerized applications using open container architecture.
- Use Helm charts to automate Kubernetes application deployments.
- Implement continuous delivery workflows with Argo CD.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application performance.
- Maintain infrastructure security and compliance standards.
- Automate repetitive tasks to improve operational efficiency.
- Work with the development team in creating GitLab-based CI/CD pipelines.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Kubernetes container orchestration, including vanilla Kubernetes and bare metal deployments, as well as Azure AKS.
- Strong knowledge of Docker for containerization and building Kubernetes-compatible containers.
- Expertise in Helm for managing Kubernetes applications, including building simple Helm charts and integrating multiple sub-charts.
- Hands-on experience with Argo CD for continuous deployment.
- Familiarity with GitLab.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation using shell, Python, and Ansible.
- Ability to provide solutions to problems in restricted environments.
