We are seeking a talented and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the software development and deployment processes within our organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate and streamline our delivery pipeline, ensuring efficient and reliable software releases.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement effective branching strategies to optimize code development, testing, and deployment workflows.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of code changes.
- Implement and maintain version control systems, focusing on GitHub repositories.
- Ensure proper versioning practices are followed for software releases.
- Configure and manage Maven build processes to automate the build and packaging of software applications.
- Troubleshoot and optimize build pipelines for efficiency.
- Implement Docker containers for application deployment and orchestration.
- Optimize Docker images for size and performance.
- Design and implement efficient and reusable GitHub Actions templates to streamline CI/CD processes.
- Define and maintain workflows for various projects, ensuring consistency, reliability, and ease of use.
- Leverage immutable infrastructure in Terraform by treating infrastructure as code.
- Manage and administer Kubernetes clusters across multiple environments.
- Implement security best practices and ensure the reliability and scalability of Kubernetes infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain Kubernetes manifests for deploying applications and services.
- Collaborate with development teams to define resource requirements and deploy applications on cloud platforms, including AWS and Azure.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices for cloud resources.
- Manage infrastructure and integrate it with cloud and Kubernetes environments.
- Ensure high availability and performance of systems.
- Backup and restore, upgrade k8s environment.
Tools: Github, GitHub Actions(CI/CD), Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform.
Certification: CKA(Must), Docker, AWS/Azure experience
