Position

The company is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. You will work on building a Marketplace platform from the ground up, utilizing the latest cloud and DevOps technologies. The platform will be hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and orchestrated with Kubernetes.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for seamless application delivery.
  • Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate and optimize cloud deployments on GCP.
  • Set up and manage Kubernetes clusters for scalable and resilient application hosting.
  • Ensure best practices in security, monitoring, and reliability across the DevOps lifecycle.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Strong experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline development.
  • Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure automation.
  • Solid understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • Experience with cloud-native application deployment and management.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • An academic degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Valid SCE (Saudi Council of Engineers) certificate or eligibility to obtain one is required for this position.

Work Conditions: The standard working hours for full-time roles at the company in Saudi Arabia are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, including a one-hour unpaid lunch break. Working hours may vary based on client requirements, and flexibility is accommodated whenever possible.

Language Requirements: Fluent English communication skills (B2 level or higher); Fluent Arabic communication skills (B2 level or higher) is a plus.
