We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. You will be part of a team building a Marketplace platform from the ground up, leveraging the latest cloud and DevOps technologies. The platform will be hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and orchestrated with Kubernetes.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for seamless application delivery.
- Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate and optimize cloud deployments on GCP.
- Set up and manage Kubernetes clusters for scalable and resilient application hosting.
- Ensure best practices in security, monitoring, and reliability across the DevOps lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline development.
- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Experience with cloud-native application deployment and management.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Fluent English communication skills (B2 level or higher).
- An academic degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with other CI/CD tools and cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools in cloud environments.
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud and DevOps.
- Fluent Arabic communication skills (B2 level or higher).
Work Conditions:
- The usual working hours for full-time roles at the company in Saudi Arabia are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, which includes a one-hour unpaid lunch break. Working hours may vary based on client requirements, and flexibility is accommodated whenever possible.
