As a DevOps Systems Engineer, you will be primarily responsible for supporting and maintaining trading applications, as well as developing and implementing tools to automate software engineering processes. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring, supporting, and maintaining computer systems and financial trading platforms.
- Operating as part of a global support team across multiple sites and data centers.
- Developing and implementing bespoke and third-party tools to automate key areas of software engineering and delivery.
- Ensuring the support and enhancement of both retail and institutional trading platforms and in-house applications.
- Managing service delivery according to ITIL standards, coordinating changes and updates across applications.
- Collaborating closely with Development and QA teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
- Troubleshooting issues across trading applications and providing both onsite and remote user support.
Qualifications:
- Education: BSc in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering discipline.
- Experience:
- At least 6 years in user support and systems management in multicultural environments.
- Proven hands-on experience with Windows and Linux-based applications and servers.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Grafana, Kibana, Puppet, Docker, Bamboo, Terraform, Kubernetes, and GitLab.
- Experience in low-latency, high-frequency infrastructure environments is advantageous.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL and various database technologies is desirable.
Skills:
- Strong multitasking ability and adeptness at delivering projects on time.
- Proficient in scripting languages including Python (preferred), C++, C#, Java, PowerShell, and Ruby.
- Sound knowledge of financial network technologies and database management.
- Ability to perform under pressure and adapt to varying challenges.
Language Requirements: Proficient in English.

- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Candidates with direct experience in the trading/forex industry will be given preference.
