We are building the connective tissue between humans, cities, and technology. This includes deploying robots in hospitals, creating live spatial intelligence for entire cities, and building holographic sports experiences in collaboration with a top motorsport team. To support these initiatives, we require robust infrastructure that operates seamlessly. Our environment consists of microservices across various programming languages (Python, Go, Java, Kotlin, TypeScript) as well as Unity applications that power real-time, spatial experiences. Each team relies on fast, secure, and efficient pipelines, and we need someone who can not only maintain but evolve these systems as we expand our contracts and projects.

What You'll Be Working On
- Designing, building, and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) across microservices and Unity applications.
- Creating reusable pipeline templates to prevent teams from reinventing workflows in every repository.
- Integrating security into the delivery process: SAST/DAST, dependency and secret scanning, SBOM generation.
- Improving build times through enhanced caching and parallelization strategies.
- Advancing release automation to include versioning, approvals, migrations, feature flags, and release notes.
- Collaborating directly with engineers to enhance their daily workflows: local dev parity, preview environments, PR checks, and AI-assisted workflows.
- Establishing observability around pipelines and deployments, including metrics, logs, alerts, and user-friendly dashboards.
- Being available to troubleshoot when a deployment or release encounters issues.
- Monitoring the tooling landscape to ensure our technology stack remains modern and efficient.

Skills We Need
- 3+ years of experience in Developer Experience (DevEx), DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Platform Engineering.
- Strong scripting and automation skills (Bash plus one of Node, Go, or Python).
- In-depth hands-on experience with GitHub Actions.
- Proficient debugging capabilities across CI logs, build systems, and runtime environments.
- Strong container knowledge (Docker) and practical experience with Kubernetes.
- Experience deploying to cloud infrastructures (AWS, GCP, Azure), with knowledge of IAM and networking.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code, preferably with Terraform.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with monorepos and advanced build systems (Bazel, Nx, Turborepo, Pants).
- Administration experience with GitHub Enterprise Server (self-hosted).
- Administration experience with self-hosted JFrog Artifactory and related tools.
- Knowledge of supply chain security measures (SLSA, Sigstore, provenance, signing, attestations).
- Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus/Grafana, Datadog, OpenTelemetry).
What We're Not Looking For
This role is not a fit for those who require stringent processes before engaging with systems or prefer documenting procedures over active problem-solving when issues arise. Additionally, if you prioritize a fully remote and asynchronous work environment, please note that we operate collaboratively in person in Abu Dhabi.
