Position

We are seeking a DevSecOps Specialist to deliver practical training workshops for a leading consulting group partnering with a public health administration in the GCC. The primary objective of the project is to develop and deliver training to the Application Development Team on effectively implementing DevSecOps principles in their secure software development lifecycle.

Project Scope:

  • Define Training Workshops Structure
  • Develop Workshop Content aligned with industry best practices and international secure application development and testing guidelines
  • Create practical exercises to enhance the team's capabilities in implementing secure coding principles and documenting evidence for audit assessments
  • Share real-life advice on Stress Testing activities and provide insights for effective capacity testing

Expected Deliverables:

  • Conduct at least 2 workshops (2-4 hours each) in-person
  • Build a virtual environment to showcase examples and allow practical exercises

Expectations of the Expert:

  • Provide expert inputs to develop workshop content and exercises
  • Possess practical experience in the entire software development lifecycle
  • Dedicate approximately 1-2 full days onsite for in-person training

Professional Background:

  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity/information security and DevSecOps, including testing
  • Expertise in secure application development and system capacity testing
  • Strong understanding of industry best practices surrounding the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC)

Language Requirements:
Experience in the Middle East and the Health Industry is a plus.
