Digital Applications Administrator - IBM APP CONNECT: IBM ACE

About the Role
We are currently seeking a Digital Applications Administrator to join our operations in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing applications deployed on RedHat OpenShift and ensuring high system availability and optimal performance across our digital platforms. This role is crucial for maintaining compliance with security policies and audit findings, while also supporting seamless integration and deployment of various applications and services.

Responsibilities

• Support, monitor, and troubleshoot services and logs for servers and applications.
• Manage deployments, configuration changes, incident handling, and performance tuning across channels.
• Ensure high availability and optimal performance of the system.
• Comply with defined SLAs from all perspectives, including Operations, Security Policies, and Audit Findings.
• Maintain a replicated system in Disaster Recovery to ensure Business Continuity.
• Engage in patching and hardening of OS and Applications.
• Utilize skills in shell scripting and various technologies to achieve operational excellence.

Requirements

• 6-8 years of experience in relevant fields.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm charts, and DevOps pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools, such as Dynatrace and AppDynamics, and the ELK stack.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes.
• Experience with IBM API Connect, including API security policies and DataPower gateway management.
• Strong understanding of integration technologies like IBM App Connect, REST/SOAP services, and message brokers (Kafka/MQ).
• Familiarity with Redis for clustering, persistence, failover, and performance tuning.
• Strong background in RedHat Linux and Apache administration.
• Skilled in HSTS, SSL hardening, and vulnerability and audit documentation.
• Knowledge of CP4I and CP4D, including platform administration and IAM integration.
