Digital Applications Administrator - IBM APP CONNECT: IBM ACE

About the Role
We are seeking a Digital Applications Administrator with expertise in applications deployed on RedHat OpenShift for our operations in Qatar. This position requires a strategic approach to managing and enhancing digital applications within a cloud-native environment, ensuring high availability, performance tuning, and compliance with security policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Support, monitor, and troubleshoot services and logs for servers and applications
• Manage deployments, configuration changes, incident handling, and performance tuning across channels
• Ensure high availability and optimal system performance
• Comply with defined SLAs from various perspectives, including Operations, Security Policies, and Audit Findings
• Maintain a replicated system for Disaster Recovery to ensure Business Continuity

Required Skills

• Proficient with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm charts, and DevOps pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab)
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, and ELK stack
• Familiarity with IBM ACE, REST/SOAP APIs, API Gateways, and message brokers (Kafka/MQ)
• Knowledge of ITIL processes, vulnerability scanners, and audit documentation
• Expertise in IBM API CONNECT (API security policies, DataPower gateway) and IBM APP CONNECT (ESQL, message flows)
• Strong command of IBM MQ (queue manager HA, channel security) and Linux administration
• Experience with CP4I (OpenShift, integration platforms) and CP4D (platform administration, storage integration)
• Understanding of IBM Data Power operations (Multi-Protocol Gateway, AAA policies) and certificate management
• Familiarity with Redis (clusters, performance tuning) and RedHat Linux/Apache
• Shell scripting skills to aid in automation and management tasks
• Capable of patching and hardening OS and applications

Experience Required

• 6-8 years of experience in a related field
