Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of information management processes aligned with ISO 19650.
- Support clients and project teams in defining and maintaining information requirements and standards.
- Develop and manage processes within a common data environment (CDE).
- Create and maintain BIM execution plans (BEP) and information requirements (OIR, AIR, PIR, EIR).
- Ensure compliance with security protocols for information access and distribution.
- Implement governance and assurance processes across project lifecycles.
- Oversee the production and assurance of the Information Model (pre-RIBA Stage 3).
- Develop object libraries and shared resources in line with BIM strategy.
- Support digital handover and construction sequencing using information models.
- Collaborate with project managers and design teams to ensure procedural compliance.
- Provide BIM training and knowledge-sharing sessions for internal and client teams.
- Advise on and integrate emerging technologies to enhance BIM processes.
- Support cost planning through data extracted from information models.
- Participate in industry events to stay current with BIM trends and standards.
- Understand and apply the information management assignment matrix (ISO 19650-2 Table A.1).
Qualifications:
- Recognized as a bachelor’s degree level qualification, including BA (Hons), BSc (Hons), and degree apprenticeships.
- Graduate-level certifications such as graduate certificates and diplomas are included.
- Covers Level 6 vocational awards, certificates, diplomas, and NVQs aligned with national qualification frameworks.
