The company is seeking a highly skilled Digital Infrastructure Engineer to support the design and implementation of Qiddiya’s extensive digital infrastructure. The role involves ensuring reliable connectivity, security, and scalability of city-wide networks and requires substantial networking expertise, particularly in TCP/IP. Location: Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi) for data centers, smart city systems, and field operations.
  • Configure, manage, and optimize Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless controllers.
  • Monitor and maintain network performance, ensuring uptime and quality of service (QoS) across multiple environments.
  • Troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions for network incidents.
  • Collaborate with ICT teams (data center, IoT, security, telecom) to integrate network infrastructure into broader digital platforms.
  • Support smart city systems integration, including CCTV, access control, and IoT devices.
  • Ensure compliance with CST, MCIT, and Qiddiya technical standards for all designs and operations.
  • Maintain network diagrams, configuration records, and standard operating procedures.
  • Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to improve digital infrastructure performance and security.
  • Participate in capacity planning and develop strategies for future network scaling.

Required Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) required; CCNP or higher preferred. FTTH/GPON vendor certification is an advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in network engineering, particularly in large-scale or smart city projects.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, network routing, switching, and security principles.
  • Experience in data center network environments and multi-vendor integrations is a plus.

Desired Skills:

  • Strong grasp of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, MPLS, QoS, and network security principles.
  • Hands-on Cisco configuration and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-visibility projects with strict deadlines.
  • Practical experience in FTTH network design, deployment, and testing.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Problem-solving mindset and strong analytical thinking.
