Position

The role involves introducing and evolving a ‘Release Management’ framework and process that governs all production releases in the RBG Digital space. Collaboration with Agile Coaches, the Architect team, and other governance functions (e.g., Business Governance, risk, compliance, CXCG, etc.) is essential. The main objective is to ensure that release management processes meet the appropriate artifacts and/or sign-offs for alignment with the company's technology stack, architectural principles, and digital, business, and risk governance.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for implementing a framework to ensure proper controls and governance are in place prior to releasing new features and digital capabilities to customers and staff.
  • Conduct tools implementation and provide training throughout RBG Digital on the framework while continuously improving best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g., CRB, Business Governance, risk, compliance, CXCG, etc.) to continuously enhance the framework and incorporate new regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure that any production releases deviating from standard requirements have exceptional approvals that are documented and include a clear mitigation plan.

Requirements

  • A postgraduate degree with 3+ years in diverse banking departments, preferably with diversified exposure from various operational functions/units.
  • Focused mindset on governance, compliance, and controls.
  • Understanding of technical/digital solutions and their implications, with functional and technology knowledge of major banking applications.
  • Ability to create simple solutions in complex and unclear situations.
  • Deep understanding of change management practices, particularly stakeholder analysis, workforce readiness, and leadership communications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with good decision-making and communication abilities, coupled with multitasking capabilities.
  • Effective coordination and management skills.
  • Proficient in stakeholder management.
