Position

The digitization of international trade and trade financing is now well underway as a result of technological capability, commercial drivers, and positive market adoption. Service providers and banks are making strategic decisions to commit to the development of digitized channels and product propositions. The objective of this role is to drive the digital strategy of all Traditional Trade Products and Structured Solutions, ensuring that the company stays ahead of the curve by commercializing existing solutions and adopting new digital solutions to deliver value to customers globally.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end management of product strategy, innovation, development, commercialization, and compliance of digital products and solutions with global/local regulatory requirements and bank policies.
  • Develop and roll out digital trade products across GCC countries (United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain), and international financial centers including Hong Kong, New York, Mumbai, and London.
  • Understand the market landscape for products, analyzing regulatory developments, trends, client needs, and competitor offerings to inform product strategy.
  • Drive product innovation by launching global products, enhancing existing products, and developing new local products based on market feedback and regulatory changes.
  • Prepare comprehensive Business Requirements Documents for product development, defining the scope and participating in project teams as a Subject Matter Expert.
  • Develop and execute a ‘Go to Market’ plan for each core product, including revenue/volume targets and client target market, while tracking execution against specific calling targets.
  • Identify third-party service providers, fintechs, and channels that can support product volume growth or offer competitive advantages.
  • Continuously optimize product performance and client experience through engagement with operations, service, technology, risk, and compliance teams.
  • Own the Product Program Guidelines to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and bank policies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of trade product management experience.
  • Strong understanding of international trade products and practices.
  • Experience in agile product and technology development approaches.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal influencing ability.
  • Strong analytical and data rationale mindset.
  • Strong people management skills.
