About the Role
As part of our automotive activities, we are looking for a Dimensional Engineer to own dimensional analysis within the assigned commodity/shop and coordinate the resolution of dimensional issues. The role requires hands-on experience in Automotive BIW (Body in White), Closures, Stamping, or Vehicle Dimensional environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Own dimensional analysis for the assigned commodity/shop and coordinate dimensional issue resolution;
- Review GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), datum strategy, measurement points, tolerances, build conditions, fixtures, gauges, and dimensional results;
- Analyze dimensional variation and identify potential contributors related to product, process, tooling, fixture, measurement system, or assembly conditions;
- Lead dimensional problem-solving reviews with relevant cross-functional teams;
- Define, track, and maintain action plans through closure;
- Identify dimensional risks, trends, and priorities;
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate dimensional status, trends, risks, and priorities;
- Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, tooling, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of dimensional issues;
- Support dimensional performance during production and launch phases.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive dimensional engineering/dimensional analysis;
- Hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas:
- BIW / Body in White
- Closures
- Stamping
- Vehicle Dimensional
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, datum strategy, tolerances, measurement points, fixtures, and gauges;
- Ability to analyze dimensional variation and identify root causes linked to product, process, tooling, fixtures, measurement systems, or assembly;
- Experience in dimensional problem-solving and action plan follow-up;
- Ability to create and present technical dashboards and dimensional reports;
- Experience in an automotive launch environment is highly valued;
- Experience with a premium OEM launch is preferred.
