We expect our Business Value Directors to possess extensive expertise in pragmatic business strategy. Ideal candidates typically hail from top-tier management consulting or technology companies, sharing an enthusiasm for the business impact of technology. Although prior experience in a tech environment is valued, we remain open to leaders with diverse backgrounds eager to transition into the tech industry. Our team members commonly hold MBA or PhD degrees from renowned institutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead multi-LOB engagement teams with senior experts from sales, pre-sales, consulting, and solution architecture to shape and drive large technology opportunities in EMEA.
- Ensure quality in customer engagements with strategic clients, enhancing customer satisfaction and opportunities for Oracle.
- Provide direct deal support by leveraging knowledge of IT-specific challenges and sophisticated analytical abilities to identify key strategic drivers for CIOs.
- Advise senior sales leaders on strategic topics to help them exceed targets.
- Define clear strategies and roadmaps that integrate best practices and the latest technology trends (e.g., cloud, AI/ML, digitalization).
- Contribute to the team’s thought leadership by synthesizing customer experiences into valuable content and methodologies.
- Influence thinking and create acceptance among various customer constituencies.
- Demonstrate exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to structure complex problems and present well-supported solutions.
Experience and Qualifications
- Several years of experience within a top-tier management consulting firm with a strategy and/or technology focus, ideally at an engagement manager level or above.
- Additional industry experience with leading technology or cloud-based companies in a lead functional/IT/strategy role or a senior IT position is preferred.
- Proven track record of building and managing high-performing virtual teams.
- Strong academic background, e.g., MBA (from a top business school), MSc, or PhD.
- Experience and credibility operating at CxO stakeholder levels.
- Fluency in English is essential; fluency in Arabic or French is an advantage.
- Exceptional problem-solving and interpersonal skills, with a history of effective communication.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, benchmarking, and developing large-scale capital appropriation requests.
- Passion for the digital/software/IT fields.
