Position Overview:
Presight seeks a qualified Data Science Leader to drive business growth and operational efficiency by developing and delivering diverse data products, including recommendation engines, predictive models, business-logic automation, and machine learning solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Mentor: Build and guide a high-performing team of data scientists and machine learning engineers.
- AI Platform Development: Drive the development of the AI platform focusing on Agentic AI capabilities and LLM integration.
- Agentic AI Expertise: Architect and implement solutions for autonomous systems.
- LLM Integration: Oversee the integration of LLMs (e.g., GPT-4, Llama) for optimal performance.
- Machine Learning Development: Lead the creation of conventional, deep learning, and reinforcement learning models.
- AI Research and Innovation: Stay updated on AI advancements and implement practical solutions.
- Product Development: Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define product requirements and develop features.
- AI/ML Operations (MLOps): Optimize MLOps pipelines for efficient model management.
- Strategic Planning: Align the AI platform's direction with business objectives.
- Technical Leadership: Ensure adherence to best practices and maintain high code quality standards.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to QHSE, risk management, and governance policies.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Experience: 12+ years in data science and machine learning, with 5+ years in leadership roles.
- Skills:
- Proven experience in developing and deploying AI systems in fast-paced environments.
- Solid understanding of Agentic AI concepts and LLM applications.
- Extensive experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Understanding of MLOps practices and tools (e.g., Kubeflow, MLflow).
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with AI hardware (e.g., GPUs, TPUs).
- Publications in AI conferences or journals.
- Familiarity with industry-specific AI applications (e.g., finance, healthcare).
- Experience with AI model explainability and security.
