About the Role The Director, Digital Solutions Delivery leads the end-to-end planning, mobilization, execution, governance, and successful handover of the organization’s digital-solutions portfolio. The role is accountable for delivering complex client engagements on time, within budget, to agreed quality standards, and in line with contractual SLAs. The portfolio covers four core pillars: Digital Process & Automation, Experience Management, Application Modernization, and Immersive & Next-Generation Experiences. This includes intelligent process automation; finance, HR, customer-service, supply-chain, compliance, and IT-operations solutions; employee and partner digital experiences; mobile-first platforms; legacy modernization; cloud-native and microservices transformation; API integration; XR; innovation labs; and drone-enabled solutions. Responsibilities Portfolio and Delivery Strategy - Define and execute the Digital Solutions Delivery strategy, operating model, delivery governance, and annual business plan in alignment with the Professional Services Organization and Digital Solutions strategy. - Own the end-to-end digital delivery pipeline, from solution handover and contract review through mobilization, implementation, acceptance, transition to operations, and project closure. - Establish a portfolio prioritization approach based on strategic importance, revenue and margin contribution, customer value, delivery risk, resource availability, and technical complexity. - Partner with Sales, Pre-Sales, Product, Solution Architecture, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Data, Operations, and external partners to ensure opportunities are deliverable, scalable, and commercially viable before contract signature. - Drive standardized delivery methods, reusable assets, accelerators, and reference architectures across the digital portfolio. - Identify opportunities to improve delivery productivity, time to value, customer outcomes, and profitability through automation, cloud-native practices, agile delivery, DevSecOps, and strategic partnerships. Delivery Planning and Governance - Direct the planning of digital client engagements using appropriate project, programme, agile, and hybrid delivery methodologies. - Ensure each engagement has a robust integrated delivery plan covering scope, milestones, dependencies, resources, budget, risks, assumptions, quality controls, security requirements, acceptance criteria, and transition arrangements. - Validate technical feasibility, capacity, implementation effort, estimated cost, and delivery timelines with solution architects, engineering teams, operations teams, vendors, and client stakeholders. - Establish and chair appropriate governance forums, including steering committees, programme boards, portfolio reviews, risk reviews, and executive client updates. - Ensure appropriate controls are in place for scope management, change requests, financial governance, quality assurance, issue management, and contractual compliance. - Maintain transparent portfolio reporting, including delivery health, revenue realization, margin performance, utilization, milestones, risks, dependencies, customer satisfaction, and forecast accuracy. Solution Delivery Execution - Lead the successful execution of contracted digital solutions while ensuring delivery meets agreed scope, quality standards, timelines, budgets, SLAs, and client expectations. - Oversee delivery of Digital Process & Automation engagements, including finance and accounting automation, HR optimization, intelligent customer-service operations, intelligent supply-chain and logistics solutions, automated compliance and governance, and IT operations control-center initiatives. - Oversee delivery of Experience Management solutions, including employee productivity platforms, partner portals and collaboration tools, and mobile-first customer, employee, and partner experiences. - Lead Application Modernization delivery, including legacy-application assessment and refactoring, microservices architecture, API management and integration, containerization, and cloud-native migration. - Govern delivery of Immersive & Next-Generation Experiences, including extended reality solutions, digital innovation labs, immersive aerial drone shows, drone-based mapping and progress measurement, and drone-based asset-integrity use cases. - Ensure delivery teams implement sound architecture, security, privacy, integration, testing, release-management, and operational-readiness practices. - Resolve critical delivery issues and escalations promptly, coordinating across internal teams, partners, vendors, and clients to minimize business impact. - Ensure effective management of project changes, delays, cancellations, and dependencies while protecting client outcomes, resource commitments, and financial performance. - Direct formal solution acceptance, knowledge transfer, documentation, operational handover, lessons learned, and post-implementation reviews. Financial and Commercial Management - Own the Digital Solutions Delivery budget, resource plan, delivery forecast, and operating-cost management. - Monitor programme and project financial performance, including revenue recognition, project margin, cost-to-complete, billing milestones, utilization, subcontractor spend, and change-order realization. - Work with commercial, finance, and account teams to identify and pursue expansion opportunities, managed-services transitions, follow-on phases, and cross-sell opportunities arising from ongoing delivery engagements. - Ensure delivery commitments and project financials remain aligned with contractual obligations, approved baselines, and client expectations. - Proactively identify delivery, commercial, technology, supplier, and capacity risks, and implement mitigations to protect profitability and customer satisfaction. Quality, Process, and Innovation - Design, implement, and continuously improve best-in-class policies, processes, playbooks, tools, and controls for Digital Solutions Delivery. - Establish delivery-quality standards and assurance mechanisms, including project health checks, architecture reviews, delivery-stage gates, independent quality reviews, and client-satisfaction assessments. - Promote agile, product-oriented, cloud-native, DevSecOps, and human-centered design practices where appropriate to improve speed, quality, and adoption. - Foster a culture of innovation by identifying emerging technologies and practical digital use cases that strengthen the portfolio, including intelligent automation, IoT, drones, robotics, XR, and cloud platforms. - Capture lessons learned and institutional knowledge to improve estimation, planning, reuse, risk management, and repeatability across future engagements. - Remain current on relevant digital-delivery trends, industry standards, platforms, and regulatory requirements, translating insights into service and delivery improvements. Stakeholder and Client Management - Serve as the executive delivery sponsor for strategic and high-value client engagements. - Build trusted senior relationships with client sponsors, business owners, technology leaders, delivery partners, and key internal stakeholders. - Provide timely and decision-oriented progress reports, executive dashboards, risk updates, and recovery plans to clients and senior leadership. - Coordinate closely with Cloud and Cybersecurity, Digital Solutions, Global Enterprise, Finance, Procurement, Legal, Operations, and the company operating companies to enable successful delivery. - Build and maintain strategic relationships with technology vendors, system integrators, specialist partners, and public- and private-sector stakeholders. - Represent the organization at relevant industry forums, partner sessions, client workshops, and innovation events. People Leadership - Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing, client-focused Digital Solutions Delivery organization. - Define organization structure, workforce plans, capability requirements, and recruitment priorities for the delivery function. - Set clear objectives, performance measures, development plans, and succession plans for direct reports and delivery leaders. - Build delivery capability across project and programme management, agile practices, solution delivery, automation, customer experience, cloud modernization, integration, innovation, and commercial management. - Promote collaboration, accountability, inclusion, continuous improvement, and adherence to organizational values across the delivery organization. - Ensure appropriate allocation and development of internal resources, contractors, and delivery partners to meet portfolio demand. Requirements - 10+ years of progressive experience leading complex digital-transformation, technology-delivery, systems-integration, or professional-services programmes. - Demonstrated experience managing a multi-project or enterprise digital portfolio, including budgets, client contracts, delivery governance, risks, resources, and commercial performance. - Strong delivery experience across one or more of the following: intelligent process automation, enterprise workflow and service management, customer/employee experience platforms, application modernization, microservices, APIs, cloud-native transformation, containerization, IoT, drones, robotics, XR, or digital innovation. - Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams comprising business analysts, delivery managers, project managers, architects, engineers, UX specialists, automation specialists, cloud specialists, and partners. - Experience working with enterprise clients and senior executive stakeholders, preferably in telecom, technology, government, financial services, industrial, or large-enterprise environments. - Strong understanding of delivery methodologies, including waterfall, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, hybrid programme management, DevSecOps, and IT service-management practices. - Demonstrated ability to manage project economics, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue recognition, margin management, vendor costs, and change control. - Experience with platforms such as UiPath, ServiceNow, Microsoft Power Platform, Salesforce, cloud hyperscalers, container platforms, API-management solutions, or comparable digital platforms is highly desirable. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. - A master’s degree in Technology Management, Business Administration, Digital Transformation, or a related discipline is preferred. - Project and programme-management certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, MSP, PMI-ACP, Scrum, or SAFe are preferred. - Relevant certifications in cloud, IT service management, automation, enterprise architecture, or digital platforms are advantageous.
