Position

As a Director in Fintech Client Advisory, you will serve as a specialist advisor across Fintech, Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NPM), and Crypto/Digital Assets. Your primary responsibility will be to provide first-line risk management support to Client Coverage in a rapidly evolving segment. This role requires collaboration across various lines of business, working closely with Product and Compliance colleagues while supporting client engagement and market advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Portfolio Direction: Support the development and implementation of client strategies for the Fintech/NPM and Crypto portfolio, ensuring alignment to risk appetite.
  • Risk Management: Provide effective risk oversight and reporting, and coach Coverage Bankers in identifying and managing key risk issues.
  • Business Partnership: Review clients and prospects against internal risk standards and encourage a culture of trusted advice aligned with effective risk management principles.
  • Process Improvement: Regularly review risk processes and collaborate with stakeholders to streamline operations.
  • People & Talent: Enhance the quality of deliverables and oversee training and development for critical roles.
  • Governance & Regulatory Engagement: Prepare reports for senior management and support compliance with governance procedures.

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:

  • Experience in Payments, Fintech, Digital Assets, or Correspondent Banking.
  • Strong understanding of non-financial risk management, including Conduct, Regulatory, Financial Crime, Operational, and Reputational risks.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and partner across lines of business.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced education preferred. Membership in ACAMS and/or ICA is a plus.
  • English language proficiency is required.
