Director IT Strategy job in Dubai

Position

The purpose of this position is to define the annual Strategic Roadmap for the IT function as well as owning and governing the end-to-end Enterprise IT architecture.

Key accountabilities include:

Implement and periodically monitor IT strategy
Conduct impact assessments on the business plan
Conduct competitive analysis of the company IT strategy vs the local, regional, and global competition
Monitor and report on key industry and technical IT trends and their application to the company

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Management/Computer Science/Information Technology
15+ years of experience in the IT or Technology fields in the Telecom industry
Previous experience in the development and execution of IT or Technology strategy in a large enterprise
Good understanding of OSS/BSS/ESS systems in Telecom
Deep expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF)
Strong understanding of cloud platforms and modern application architectures
