About the Role Develop and lead the overall networking strategy for data center and digital infrastructure projects. This position requires defining technical standards, design guidelines, and governance frameworks for network architecture. You will be responsible for leading the design and implementation planning of various networking components, ensuring that the network designs meet scalability, reliability, performance, and cybersecurity requirements. Key Accountabilities - Develop and lead the networking strategy for data center and digital infrastructure projects. - Define technical standards, design guidelines, and governance frameworks for network architecture. - Lead the design and implementation planning of: - Spine-leaf architectures - Core, aggregation, and access networks - SDN and network virtualization technologies - WAN, internet, and cloud connectivity - Network security zoning and segmentation - Disaster recovery and redundancy frameworks - Collaborate with data center design, ICT, cloud, cybersecurity, and operations teams to ensure integrated solutions. - Review and approve network-related design submissions, technical specifications, and engineering deliverables. - Manage relationships with telecom providers, OEMs, technology vendors, and engineering consultants. - Evaluate emerging networking technologies and recommend innovation opportunities. - Support procurement activities including technical evaluations, vendor assessments, and RFP reviews. - Ensure compliance with international standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements. - Provide technical leadership during project execution, testing, commissioning, and operational handover. - Support budgeting, cost optimization, and lifecycle planning initiatives. - Build and mentor high-performing technical networking teams. Qualifications & Experience - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or related field. - Master’s degree is preferred. - Minimum 10+ years of experience in networking and digital infrastructure design. - Minimum 7+ years in leadership roles managing large-scale enterprise or hyperscale data center projects. - Experience working with hyperscale operators, colocation providers, or mission-critical environments is highly preferred.
