Position

The company is seeking a Director of Business Development for the Middle East and Indo Pacific who will report to the Vice President of Sales. This senior-level role requires a technically grounded business-development leader with deep experience across Electronic Support, Electronic Attack, and SIGINT mission areas. The successful candidate will define and execute the company's go-to-market strategies, cultivate relationships with key government and industry partners, and position the company as a leader in advanced networking and spectrum solutions supporting electromagnetic spectrum modernization priorities. This position is eligible for 100% remote work depending on location, with candidates ideally located within the Middle East or Indo Pacific.

Role and Responsibilities
Market Strategy and Development

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive regional Electronic Warfare (EW) business strategy addressing near-term and emerging opportunities across Defence and adjacent markets.
  • Define market segments, growth drivers, procurement pathways, and competitive positioning within the broader EW ecosystem.
  • Partner with the Product Management and Engineering teams to align customer needs with the company's evolving portfolio of RF technologies.

Customer Engagement and Capture

  • Establish and expand relationships with regulators, Front Line Defence services (Army, Navy, Air Force), and Prime Contractors.
  • Lead regional opportunity identification, qualification, and capture planning.
  • Identify, shape, and represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and government forums to strengthen visibility within the EW community.

Partnerships and Routes to Market

  • Identify and pursue strategic alliances with OEMs, system integrators, and channel partners.
  • Evaluate and recommend business models and teaming strategies.

Business Planning and Reporting

  • Build a data-driven business plan and forecast aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Support regional Sales Directors with regular reporting on pipeline development and capture performance.

Requirements
Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, capture management, or program management within the defence or aerospace sectors.
  • Proven success in securing and executing programs valued at $1M – $20M.
  • Technical familiarity with RF systems, spectrum operations, and EW mission areas.
  • Existing relationships within regional EW programs and with major defence primes.
  • Security Clearance: Must hold relevant regional security clearance.
  • Languages: Must be fluent in English and Arabic.

Preferred Skills

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Electronic Attack and Electronic Support technologies.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills across technical and executive audiences.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

  • Office environment.
  • Extensive travel required (50%).
  • Trade shows and outdoor environment for demonstrations.
