In this position, you will provide essential finance support and guidance to hotel Directors of Finance, responding to business and corporate requirements across a range of locations. As a subject-matter expert in hotel finance processes, systems, and USALI—including Sun and Opera—you will ensure operational excellence in financial practices while contributing to new hotel openings and integrations.

Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day finance support and guidance to hotel Directors of Finance.
- Act as a subject-matter expert on hotel finance processes, systems, and USALI.
- Provide flexible on-site support across the region based on hotel, business, and corporate priorities.
- Oversee hotel budgeting, forecasting, accrual, and reporting processes.
- Support new hotel openings and integrations, ensuring finance readiness.
- Drive the onboarding process for hotel Finance Directors/Managers through structured tools, SOPs, and training.
- Offer interim finance leadership during periods of hotel Finance Director absence.
- Deliver targeted training on financial, operational, and reporting topics to teams.
- Review hotel financial performance, challenge key assumptions, and identify actions to improve results.
- Assist hotel Finance Directors in reviewing management and hotel agreements.
- Support implementation and closure of Internal Audit remediation actions.
- Contribute to regional and global finance projects and the rollout of related policies and procedures.
- Conduct consistent trading reviews to improve the quality and accuracy of budgets and forecasts.
- Prepare regional financial analysis, reporting, and presentations on-demand.
- Monitor compliance with Management Agreements and the control environment.
- Ensure timely collection of hotel and the company receivables, managing delinquent balances as necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant business experience, including team leadership.
- Significant experience as a hotel Finance Director or Area Finance Director within an international hospitality environment.
- Proven project management experience within a matrix organization and across multiple business units.
- Experience working within an international or global organization.
- Strong knowledge of the leisure and hospitality industry, hotel operations, and corporate finance.
- Strong financial, analytical, and commercial acumen.
- Degree Qualified or equivalent in Economics, Accounting/Business, or MBA.
Additional Information
- Ability to travel across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
- Strong analytical and numerical capability with an understanding of financial valuation/business performance.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Knowledge of BI platforms such as Tableau/Power BI is appreciated.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French and/or Arabic is desirable.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills with proven problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
